PERSONAL CARE SERVICES

We provide in-home aides for women and children.

Depending on what is prescribed by the insurance policy and physician, patients who need complete rest or have a pre-existing condition may be eligible for an in-home caregiver. Children may receive personal care services by caregivers who provide stability in the family for focused attention on bathing, eating, toileting, moving about, and household management. Any therapy in the plan of care will be supported as directed by the family and physician. Caring for feeding tubes (G Tubes, NG Tubes, NJ Tubes, and G Buttons) is often included in this program.

We understand the challenges of living with illnesses and other health conditions. This is why we do our best in helping our clients in their daily living activities. We bring IV infusion to your homes

Once your physician orders your home infusion therapy, our highly qualified healthcare personnel provides assessment and motivate the patient and responsible caregiver to understand the purpose of the therapy, that we are able to explain a disciplined medical regimen, and are realistic in coping with issues involved with treatment in the home. Further, we assist to ensue the patients’ home environment are conducive to safe and effective care. Mother’s Helper agency provides the necessary training to carry out the therapy according to the physician’s orders. Together, we make a strong emotionally supportive team to include your family to participate in the therapy.

Covered services include:

  • Total parenteral nutrition (TPN)
  • Enteral nutrition (EN)
  • Intravenous chemotherapy
  • Intravenous antibiotic therapy
  • Pain management therapy

We support women to find themselves with a high risk pregnancy. Mothers may need patient education and intervention from skilled nurses. This way, they can receive the care prescribe by their physician to ensure success of the pregnancy. Together, we work for the mother and baby!

IV Infusion Therapies for High-Risk Pregnancies

  • Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN)
  • Hydration for Hyperemesis (severe vomiting)

Diabetes

  • Diabetes education for the non-insulin requiring patient.

Hypertension

  • Comprehensive education regarding hypertension in pregnancy and preeclampsia

Medical Lactation

  • Our IBCLC and licensed personnel bring the more complex in-home patient education and newborn home visit to you. NICU graduates, multiple births, pre-existing complications, and poor weight gain are commonplace referrals in our community.

RESPITE CARE

We have got your caregiving responsilbilities covered!

We provide stress reduction caregivers with whom our families have met and greeted prior to placement. Coverage is dependent upon your insurance policy or the waiver programs of our State. Licensed and unlicensed personnel available for programs.

Some include Cap-C, CAP-ID, and, for our military, the ECHOES Respite Program (16 hrs a month by Tricare).

We have dedicated professionals that can help in improving your well-being.

Our private duty nurses provide primary and focused nursing care services to individuals who need help. The goal of this service is to implement care plans that are specialized to our clients’ medical needs. We ensure that the families of our clients are part of the care plan. We inform and update them about the current status of their loved one’s health.

Mother’s Helper recruits the most qualified LPNs and RNs to provide excellent caregiving for 4 – 16 hours daily at either a home or school setting. They help individuals who:

ACHC
  • Need a frequent assessment by a Licensed Nurse.
  • Has a tracheotomy and/or is ventilator-dependent.
  • Receives continuous nutritional feeds through a G-tube or NG-tube or receives intravenous nutrition.
  • Is oxygen-dependent in conjunction with other medical needs.
  • Has complex medical needs such as medication management and frequent seizures.
